1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Lasha website (lasha.app) and, once available, the Lasha iPhone application. By accessing this website or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Lasha is a product of Studio Hove. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Studio Hove.

2. Pre-Launch Status

The Lasha app is not yet available. This website is a pre-launch marketing site. Signing up to the waitlist does not constitute a purchase, subscription, or any contractual commitment on either side. We reserve the right to change, delay or cancel the product at any time without liability.

3. Use of This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on this site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or submit forms in bulk.
• Transmit any malicious code, spam or unsolicited communications.

4. The Lasha App (Once Launched)

When the Lasha app becomes available on the Apple App Store, the following additional terms will apply:

Your data

All client records you create in the app — profiles, lash maps, session notes, photos and consent forms — belong to you. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and never transmitted to or stored on Studio Hove's servers.

Acceptable use

You may only use the app for lawful professional or personal purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app (including how you collect and store your clients' personal information) complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions

Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscriptions, billed through your Apple ID via Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We do not process or store payment information directly; all billing is handled by Apple.

Free trial

Where a free trial is offered, it is available to new subscribers only. Any unused portion of a trial period is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within the Lasha app — including the Lasha name, logo, design, copy and code — is the intellectual property of Studio Hove and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute or create derivative works from any of this content without our written permission.

Your own client data, photos and records remain your property at all times.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and the Lasha app are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We cannot guarantee that the website or app will always be accessible or free of bugs.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Hove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the Lasha app — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue or loss of business — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Services

This website and app interact with third-party services including Apple CloudKit, Formspree and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of these services. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms and policies.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
